The third Thai restaurant from JKS and Luke Farrell set to open in Battersea Power station will pay tribute to the enchanting mountains and jungles surrounding Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.
Luke has spent over 15 years in Thailand, and training and working in kitchens across South East Asia. Alongside his extensive culinary learnings, over the years he has also acquired hundreds of cuttings and seeds which he has cultivated back at his own nursery, Ryewater, in Dorset. This has allowed him to dutifully grow and recreate his favourite regional cuisines of Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, India and China. Plaza Khao Gaeng, Luke’s debut restaurant is a celebration of Southern Thai cuisine and Speedboat bar transports you to the bustling late-night canteens of Bangkok’s own Chinatown.The Position
The right Bartender will be passionate and knowledgeable about beers, whisky and cocktails, and have a good background in high volume restaurants and bars, whilst delivering exceptional guest experiences with personality and flair.
The Successful Bartender will have:

Prior experience as a Bartender within a high-quality restaurant or bar;
Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in;
A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail;
Passion for beverage, food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn;

BAO are seeking a Commis Chef to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. Since opening in 2015, BAO Soho, has garnered critical acclaim, gained a cult following, and has been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand 4 years running. Inspired by the Xiao Chi Houses in Taiwan. BAO Soho serves a selection of BAOs and small eats. BAO’s goal is to create restaurants that offer a different experience to each other, inspired by our founder’s upbringing and travels around Asia.Each restaurant within the group has been designed with a unique narrative & menu.The Position
As a Commis Chef, you will be working in the open kitchen preparing mise en place for the Chefs de Partie. You'll assist CDPs in producing outstanding and creative dishes, using fresh local ingredients and innovative recipes to wow our guests.
If you are an enthusiastic team player who is passionate about food and hospitality, have excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and develop with us, then we want to hear from you. Good knowledge of or experience in Asian cuisine and culture is a bonus!
The successful Commis Chef will learn
