Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and experienced Bar Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our bar and lounge. You will assist in leading the team, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring the smooth running of all bar functions. Working closely with the Bar Manager, you will help deliver a vibrant, high-quality guest experience while supporting training, cost control, and team development.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations and ensuring efficient, high-quality service.

• Supervise the bar team during service, ensuring guests receive warm, professional, and attentive hospitality.

• Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, ordering, and waste management.

• Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and help train bartenders and bar backs to company standards.

• Ensure all hygiene, safety, and municipality regulations are followed at all times.

• Help manage bar setup, mise-en-place, and cleanliness to ensure readiness before each service.

• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, always prioritizing guest satisfaction.

• Support in planning and executing special events, promotions, and activations.

• Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on beverage trends, recipes, and presentation standards.

• Assist in achieving sales targets and improving profitability through upselling and operational efficiency.

• Lead by example through professionalism, attention to detail, and positive team morale.

• Perform Duty Manager responsibilities when assigned and ensure smooth venue operations during shifts.

• Support communication between the bar team and management, ensuring information flows effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a busy bar or lounge.

• Strong beverage knowledge, including mixology, wine, and spirits.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Good understanding of stock management, cost control, and cash handling.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A hands-on leader who leads by example and maintains high service standards.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and creating memorable moments.
