SNUW Barista – Job Description: SNUW is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Barista to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving all beverages according to SNUW's recipes and quality standards, including specialty coffees, espresso-based drinks, matcha, hot teas, iced teas, smoothies, milk shakes, protein shakes, fresh juices, and mojitos, as well as preparing and serving SNUW. The role includes greeting customers, taking orders, operating the point-of-sale system, handling cash and card payments, maintaining excellent customer service, and ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. Applicants must be confident in recommending menu items, upselling and cross-selling products, and contributing to increasing sales and the average transaction value. The Barista is expected to work effectively as part of a team, assist colleagues during busy periods, communicate professionally, maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, follow all food safety and company procedures, monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and perform handover to the next shift, and cleaning duties as assigned. Previous café or hospitality experience is preferred, excellent communication skills, written and spoken English are essential, and applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Salary is decided based off of experience and skill level.
