Skyler HR, a leader in hospitality recruitment, is seeking an exceptional General Manager for one of our esteemed clients. This role is for a family-oriented, licensed restaurant in Dubai, currently in its pre-opening stages. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of innovative leadership and strong financial acumen to drive the restaurant's success in this dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership: Demonstrate expertise in financial management, including interpreting Profit and Loss (PnL) statements, budgeting, and cost control. Make data-driven decisions to optimize revenue and profitability.
• Effective Communication: Utilize clear, concise communication skills to articulate strategies and concepts effectively. Respond to queries promptly, ensuring clarity and precision in all interactions.
• Strategic Planning: Engage in strategic thinking and decision-making, focusing on the restaurant's financial planning and management. Assess and integrate various business elements to enhance overall financial health.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring efficient management of revenue streams and costs. Share proven strategies from past experiences in similar roles.
• Problem-Solving: Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, particularly in financial management, to sustain restaurant profitability.
• Market Acumen: Possess in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, especially in Dubai, understanding local market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a diverse team, setting and achieving financial and operational goals. Demonstrate a track record of effective team management.
• Adaptability: Show flexibility in adapting to the fast-paced nature of the restaurant industry, readily adjusting strategies as required.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous attention to detail, particularly in financial matters and communications.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Embrace the diverse cultural environment of Dubai, working effectively in a multicultural setting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably in high-end, family-oriented restaurants.
• Strong financial and business acumen, with a track record of successful financial management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to Dubai’s multicultural environment are a plus.
• 5 years previous experience in same or similar roles within the region
