Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Head Hostess to oversee the front-of-house operations of our restaurant in Dubai. The ideal candidate will manage the hostess team, ensure smooth guest experiences, strategically use the restaurant's guest database to drive repeat business and revenue, and assist in coordinating restaurant events. Proficiency in SevenRooms or similar reservation and guest management platforms is required. Fluency in English, Russian, Italian, or Spanish is essential to serve our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and manage the hostess team to ensure professionalism, efficiency, and consistent service standards.
- Oversee reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Maintain and actively manage the restaurant's guest database, capturing guest preferences, special occasions, and VIP profiles.
- Strategically leverage the guest database to increase repeat visits, maximize high-value bookings, and identify anportunities for revenue growth.
- Collaborate with management and service teams to optimize table utilization and front-of-house operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in fine dining or luxury restaurants.
- Previous experience managing a front-of-house team.
- Proficiency in SevenRooms or similar reservation and guest management software.
- Strong knowledge of guest relationship management and experience leveraging databases to increase revenue.
- Experience in supporting or coordinating events in a restaurant setting is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English, Russian, Italian, or Spanish.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Professional, polished appearance and demeanor.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns with discretion.
