Weekend Chef Reference PRI76283 Location The Vines (Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre), Innhams Wood, Crowborough, TN6 1TE Priory Group Division Adult Care Vacancy Type Permanent - Part Time Salary £10.42 per hour Hours 15 hours per week - weekends Job Advert Role Description We are currently looking for a Weekend Chef to join our established team at The Vines in Crowborough, East Sussex.  The Vines is a residential rehabilitation service for people who have experienced acquired brain injury. A dedicated multi-disciplinary team of nursing, rehabilitative support and therapy staff develop and deliver programs tailored for each individual. Positive goals are developed in conjunction with their families to best reflect individuals' aspirations. Individuals are supported to take part in activities they enjoy, including sensory experiences, and families are encouraged to be involved through regular review meetings. We're looking for people to join our team who really want to make a positive difference to peoples' lives! As part of the Support Services team, our Chefs provide a high quality service to our residents through the creation, presentation and delivery of fresh meals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of the catering service with particular emphasis on the planning, preparation and cooking of meals. As a Chef you will: Be required to prepare and cook meals for our residents each day. Ensure that menus and storage of food clearly explains and separates allergens. Follow the Priory catering guides for food monitoring and cooking to ensure compliance with EHO standards.
