Portofino hiring Waiter/Waitress at Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are looking for experienced and professional Waiters/Waitresses to join the opening team of a premium casual dining restaurant in Downtown Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to all guests.
-Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
-Maintain excellent knowledge of the menu, ingredients, beverages, and daily specials.
-Recommend dishes, beverages, desserts, and other menu items to guests.
-Follow the restaurant’s service standards and SOPs at all times.
-Ensure correct table setup and maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
-Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, bar, hostesses, supervisors, and management.
-Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and promptly.
-Process orders and payments correctly through the POS system.
-Support upselling and contribute to achieving restaurant sales targets.
-Maintain high standards of personal grooming, hygiene, and professional appearance.

Requirements:
-Minimum 3 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in restaurants or hospitality.
-Dubai/UAE restaurant experience is mandatory.
-Fluent English is mandatory.
-Arabic or Russian is an advantage.
-Strong communication and guest-service skills.
-Good knowledge of restaurant service standards.
-Presentable, energetic, positive, and team-oriented.
-Ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume restaurant environment.
-Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
