Barista – Job Description

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, specialty coffee, tea, and other beverages according to the restaurant’s standards. The candidate must have strong knowledge of coffee beans, origins, roasting profiles, grinding, extraction, milk steaming, latte art, and different brewing methods.

The role also requires good knowledge of tea varieties, correct brewing temperatures and timing, and professional beverage preparation and presentation. Responsibilities include taking guest orders, recommending beverages, maintaining consistent taste and presentation, monitoring stock, keeping the coffee station clean and organized, and ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.

The Barista must provide friendly and professional service while following all food safety, hygiene, and company standards.
