Organization Summary

OliOli® is an interactive play museum that nurtures the power of imagination and spirit of self-discovery. With 8 galleries (each containing interactive, hands-on, open-ended, thought-provoking activities), we exist to bring wow experiences to children - creating a wholesome and delight-filled alternative to screen-based fun. Each space has been thoughtfully conceived with creativity and innovation, designed to inspire, stimulate imagination and curiosity, and spark a love of learning.

Position summary

Our Play & Engagement Facilitator (better known as IMAGINATORS) are responsible for fulfilling OliOli®’s vision of creating awesome experiences and memories for children. They act as visitor guide working within exhibit zones, Imaginators act as OliOli®’s brand ambassadors, with the primary objective of engaging with all visitors in an empathetic, thoughtful and joyful manner.

 

Hours: 40 hours a week (5 days incl weekends and public holidays)

Compensation: AED 5,000 + benefits / per month

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining operational standards in the museum and galleries
  • Providing friendly, courteous and sincere customer service to all guests and visitors 
  • Contributing to a positive team-based and ‘visitor-first’ centric culture
  • Manage groups of children from schools, birthday parties, or camp activities

Experience

  • Experience in customer service role
  • Experience is working with children and families

 

Skills required

  • Ability to effectively communicate in an enthusiastic and engaging manner with children and adults in a non-traditional education environment
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high volume environment
  • Ability (and enthusiasm) to work in a cultural diverse environment
