Job Description
  • You will oversee the Supervision, direction, and training of the restaurant staff.
  • Execute daily team briefing communicating to the team daily reservations, special events, feedback, and information.
  • When dealing with clients welcome and acknowledge all guests with a smile, happy, friendly, and professional attitude introducing yourself and presenting the clients with all relevant menus and information.
  • Daily uniform, tool checks and assigning sections.
  • Check daily reservations and prepare the restaurant accordingly.
  • Continually monitor staff knowledge regarding menus, food, beverages and service with ongoing training and feedback.
  • Ensure that the team are exceeding guests’ expectations.
  • Control and supervise the wear and tear of crockery and glassware.
  • Meet and liaise with sales representatives to order supply, such as tableware, utensils, and cleaning products.
  • Maintain all the restaurant costs within the company budget.
  • Always to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Supervise and help to maintain the staff area.
  • To identify and arrange the maintenance and repair of any equipment.
  • You will take charge of customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Be able to prioritise and deal with any changes or issues that may arise working closely with the general manager.
  • Ensure that the restaurant is maintained to standard quickly and efficiently between service.
  • Responsible for all the opening/closing procedures.
  • Assist the management to achieve financial targets and minimize wastage.
  • Regularly review staff performance and give feedback when required.
  • To be familiar efficient and accurate with the till system and ensuring the same from the team.
  • Provide guests with recommendations for enhanced revenue.
  • Responsible for the admin of staff rota and hours.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • OB operations standards and departmental procedures.
  • Plan and develop guest loyalty/ membership programs.
  • Plan new and update existing menus in coordination with the Executive Chef/ Sous Chef.
  • Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy with the help of the Brand Director and Director of Operations.
  • Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints.
  • Organize and supervise shifts.
  • Manage and lead staff.
  • Hire new employees.
  • Training and evaluate staff performance. Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
  • To revise and update both outlets Departmental Operations Manual as and when needed.
  • To report "lost and found" items.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by management.
