Job Description

Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai is looking for a passionate and highly skilled Chef de Cuisine with extensive experience in French and Mediterranean culinary traditions. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in high-end or reputable French or Mediterranean restaurants, with a flair for creativity, leadership, and precision.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and innovate menus that reflect the French Mediterranean style, aligning with the restaurant’s concept.

- Mentor, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain excellence and enthusiasm.

- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

- Manage inventory, food costs, and supplier relationships effectively.

- Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

- Uphold the restaurant’s reputation for both sophistication and fun, creating a lively culinary atmosphere.

- Monitor financial performance and implement initiatives to optimize profitability.

 

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years as a Head Chef or Executive Chef, preferably in upscale French or Mediterranean restaurants.

- Multilingual proficiency; fluency in English & French is mandatory. Additional languages are advantageous.

- Proven experience in leading a dynamic, high-quality kitchen, with a focus on French and Mediterranean cuisine.

- Experience in creating innovative menus and maintaining high standards of food quality.

- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, team leadership, and culinary management.
