As a Hostess you are responsible in receiving and welcoming guests in a warm, courteous and efficient manner at all times. Your key responsibility is to ensure all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards that exceeds customers’ expectations.

Offers consistent professional, friendly, warm and engaging service. 
- 
Taking reservations over the phone and through other platforms, answer inquiries and give information in an an impeccable manner. 
- 
Welcome guests and ensure that they are attended to and be available for them at all times as a point of contact. 
- 
Getting all the guests’ information during the inquiry to fill our database efficiently. 
- 
Ensuring all bookings are recorded correctly. 
- 
Seat guests based on guests’ preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations. 
- 
Taking responsibility for all reservations, making sure all inquiries are followed up and documented on the system 
- 
Answering the phone to all external calls following company standard procedure 
- 
Maintaining relationships with key clients & VIPs, ensuring management is aware of any bookings. 
- 
Ensuring all of the team (FOH & Kitchen) is fully aware of event bookings, current & future. 
- 
Review operating practices for the reservation and reception team and implement improvements where necessary. 
- 
Liaising with the Management Team and Kitchen to ensure all departments are up to speed with daily bookings. 
- 
Put forward ideas regarding targeting potential customers, building relationships with key clients & VIPs & promoting new business. 
- 
Act according to the complaint handling standards and procedure. 
- 
Report for duty as per schedule, clean, tidy, and wearing the correct uniform. 
- 
Attend departmental communication meetings, and training sessions and ensure that all team members operate in line with the instructions received. 
- 
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. 
- 
Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures. 
- 
Carry out additional tasks as instructed by management. 
- 
Assure the well-being of all guests by maintaining a close, friendly, yet discrete contact. 
- 
Be aware of all menus and ongoing promotions in the outlet by heart in order to recommend if a guest requests. 
- 
Contribute in setting up the outlets database. 
- 
Reassure the guests’ satisfaction upon their departure. 
Qualifications
- 
Diploma / Degree in hospitality. 
- 
Previous relevant experiences in luxury restaurant or hotel. 
- 
Knowledge in Customer Service. 
- 
Excellent English communication skills. Multiple language ability is considered as additional advantage.
