Kiza Restaurant hiring Mixologist at Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Bar Manager to join our team at our high-end restaurant and lounge. The Bar Manager will be responsible for managing the bar operations, ensuring exceptional service to our guests, and maximizing revenue. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills, a strong knowledge of mixology and wine service, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage the bar operations, including inventory, ordering, scheduling, and training of bartenders. 

• Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met throughout their visit. 

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive beverage program, including premium alcohol beverage menus, cocktails, wine, and beer, to maximize revenue. 

• Establish SOPs for beverage service and train staff on the protocol. 

• Take the lead in training Restaurant staff on beverage pairing, wine and spirit knowledge. 

• Collaborate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure that orders are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. 

• Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively, striving to resolve any issues to the guest's satisfaction. 

• Manage inventory and ordering of bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, glassware, and other equipment. 

• Take part in the planning and execution of both private and public events and ensure that events are executed flawlessly. 

• Actively monitor staff performance and provide continuous support to ensure targets are met. 

• Ensure that all staff follow health and safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment. 

• Perform other duties as assigned by management. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant and lounge – Diploma/Degree in Hospitality a pre-requisite. 

• Must be charismatic:- outgoing, energetic, and likable personality that draws other people to them. 

• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of bartenders. 

• Strong knowledge of mixology, flair bartending and wine service, including familiarity with different types of spirits, wines, and beers – WSET Qualification a pre-requisite. 

• Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive beverage program that maximizes revenue. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. 

• Must have a high level of professionalism, sense of style and a positive attitude.
