Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Translate team communication, menus, promotional materials, and special offerings from the original language to the target language, ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness.

- Assist in communication between guests and staff by providing real-time translation during dining experiences.

- Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure accurate descriptions of dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods.

- Support marketing efforts by translating social media content, blog posts, and event announcements.

- Managing and translating important documents, reports, and presentations, and ensuring they are organized and readily accessible.

- Maintain consistency in terminology and style across all translated materials.

- Embrace cultural sensitivity and adapt translations to resonate with the local audience.

 

Requirements:

- Fluency in translating between Chinese & English. (Arabic, or the other language ... is a plus).

- Strong understanding of culinary terms, ingredients, and gastronomic concepts.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Cultural awareness and the ability to convey nuances accurately in translation.

- Prior translation experience in a restaurant, culinary, or hospitality setting is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Relevant language certification is required. If applicable, you must ensure that the document is authentic.
