John Dory hiring Runner/Commis at Dubai, United Arab Emirates

John Dory is a premium seafood brand based in Belarus, renowned for its dedication to delivering fresh, high-quality fish and seafood products. The company has grown from a modest start up into a prominent name in the seafood market with 20 premium retail stores all over the country and 1 fine dining restaurant. We are now expanding to Dubai and launching our first restaurant — Seafood Market by John Dory. It will be a classic seafood bar with a focus on wide variety of exquisitely fresh seafood.

Now we are looking for a Runner.

Responsibilities:

- Keep the dining area clean all day, including furniture, servers' stations and kitchen/bar service areas.  
- Replenish supplies like napkins, condiments and disposable tableware.  
- Prepare and update all stations for servers (mis-en-place).  
- Set tables following the restaurant’s rules.  
- Work closely with waiters, bartenders and kitchen staff to keep everything running smoothly.  
- Make sure food and drinks are delivered quickly and correctly to the right tables.  
- Gather dirty dishes from around the restaurant and take them to the washing area.  
- Clean and shine plates, cutleries and glasses.  
- Empty trash cans regularly.  
- Tell management about any problems during your shift.  
- Do extra tasks given by management to help the restaurant work well.
- Follow hygiene and cleanliness rules carefully.
- Stick to the dress code and the restaurant’s culture
- Stay positive and professional, even when things get tough.

Requirements:

- English B2+
- Experience in the position 2 years+
