J Bakery hiring Barista at Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista with a strong background in specialty coffee to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house operations, you’ll be expected to deliver exceptional coffee experiences, provide top-tier customer service, and help drive a culture of excellence and creativity.
☕ Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages.
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment to industry standards.
Maintain consistent drink quality by adhering to precise recipes and techniques.
Educate guests on coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards for both workstation and equipment.
Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and vibrant coffee culture.
Manage inventory levels for coffee beans, milk, and other related supplies.
Stay updated on specialty coffee trends and new brewing methods.
✅ Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a specialty coffee environment.
Knowledge of manual brew methods (e.g., V60, Chemex, AeroPress).
Skilled in dialing-in espresso and adjusting grinders for consistency.
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
