Job Summary:
The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day front-of-house operations in a standalone restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth service. This role manages, trains, and motivates front-of-house staff, upholds high standards of service, and coordinates closely with the kitchen and management to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and runners, ensuring high service standards at all times.

Ensure a warm, professional, and consistent guest experience, handling guest feedback and resolving complaints promptly.

Manage table reservations, seating plans, and guest flow to maximize covers while maintaining service quality.

Oversee daily opening and closing procedures for the dining area.

Train new front-of-house team members on restaurant policies, menu knowledge, upselling techniques, and customer service standards.

Monitor staff grooming, hygiene, and adherence to health & safety standards.

Support inventory control and assist with ordering front-of-house supplies.

Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety and hygiene regulations.

Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure coordinated and efficient service.

Support sales and upselling initiatives to drive revenue.

Prepare shift reports and assist with cash handling and end-of-day reconciliations.

Schedule and manage staff rosters, coordinating with HR and senior management as needed.

Uphold brand values, contributing positively to team morale and restaurant culture.
Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a supervisor or floor manager in a mid-to-upscale restaurant environment

Strong knowledge of Dubai hospitality standards and local regulations

Excellent leadership, coaching, and motivational skills

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure

Confident communicator in English (Arabic or other languages a plus)

Good knowledge of restaurant POS systems and reservation software

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Customer-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality
