This role is a senior leadership position responsible for driving performance and operational excellence across all brands and branches within the Hotaru Holdings group. The General Manager ensures strategic alignment, operational efficiency, profitability, and exceptional guest experience across all operational touchpoints.
Job Purpose
The General Manager leads the operational execution and strategic growth of Hotaru’s multi-brand portfolio. You will operationally and commercially steer each brand, collaborate cross-functionally with department heads, implement best practices, and be accountable for performance outcomes across the group’s restaurants, premium experiences, and ancillary businesses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Execution

Partner with the owner and executive leadership team to define, articulate, and implement the group’s short- and long-term business strategies.

Support brand expansion initiatives, new concept launches, and market diversification.

Establish and monitor KPIs for all operating units to ensure strategic goals are met.
2. Operational Oversight

Oversee day-to-day operations of all brands and outlets, ensuring consistency of service quality, guest satisfaction, and adherence to brand standards.

Standardize operational processes, systems and SOPs to drive efficiency across multiple units.

Monitor performance dashboards, financial metrics, budgeting, and cost controls across outlets.
3. People & Culture

Lead, mentor, and coach senior managers and operational teams to deliver performance excellence.

Drive a cohesive culture aligned with Hotaru’s values of innovation, culinary excellence, and hospitality.

Implement training and development plans that build operational capability and leadership bench strength.
4. Financial & Commercial Performance

Responsible for achieving revenue, profit, and operational efficiency targets across the portfolio.

Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Identify opportunities to optimize revenue streams, reduce waste, and improve margins.
5. Guest Experience & Quality Assurance

Maintain high standards of guest service, service recovery, quality control, and brand representation across outlets.

Set guest feedback frameworks and review insights to drive continuous improvement.
6. Cross-Functional Partnership

Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Finance, and Procurement to align operational priorities with broader business objectives.

Support marketing and promotional efforts to drive footfall, brand awareness, and engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

10+ years of senior leadership experience in multi-unit hospitality or F&B operations, preferably within a multi-brand group.

Proven track record of scaling operations, optimizing P&L performance, and improving guest satisfaction.

Strong financial acumen, operational strategy, and commercial leadership skills.

Excellent communicator with effective stakeholder management capabilities.
