Job Description

The Senior Marketing Officer is responsible for ensuring the strategic alignment between the organization’s goals and the development of marketing campaigns to meet those objectives.

  • Creating written pieces that are sharp, memorable, and effective at prompting readers to act.
  • Collaborating with Videographers and Graphic Designers to ensure that posts are engaging.
  • Optimizing content for publication across various social media sites.
  • Scheduling copy for release at optimal times.
  • Monitoring users' engagement with and feedback on every post.
  • Gathering insights, analyzing, and reporting on the effects of publications.
  • Maintaining a secure database of all login credentials.
  • Remaining abreast of changes to all pertinent social media applications.
  • Exploring the potential value of social media sites that are not yet in our repertoire.
  • Community management, making sure all comments and messages are responded to in a timely and professional manner
  • Plan and monitor advertising and digital campaigns
  • Support in development of brand websites and SEO/SEM
  • Assist in execution of PR activities
  • Assist in building marketing calendars, plans and activities for all brands – from research to implementation and follow up
  • Work closely with the marketing manager in creating marketing strategies
  • Monitor marketing budget provided by the MM
  • Implementation of social media marketing campaigns including scheduling posts, collaborating on content ideas and strategies
  • Responding to social media messages and comments in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for collateral production
  • Work closely with the marketing team and external agencies on branding projects and new brand/store launches
  • Monitor local and regional competitors.
  • Review local, regional, and international industry and social media trends
  • Closely track marketing budget
