Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
  2. Overseeing all front and back-of-the-house restaurant operations.
  3. Ensuring guests’ satisfaction through promoting excellent services.
  4. Communicating any necessary information to the concerned head office department.
  5. Providing guests with accurate information on the restaurant’s menu, specialties, and current promotions.
  6. Upselling a variety of products to the guests to maximize sales.
  7. Ensuring that all orders are prepared and served according to the established standards and presentation.
  8. Ensuring that different sections of the restaurant are well-stocked and all the necessary equipment and accessories are well-maintained.
  9. Responding to guests’ complaints tactfully and professionally.
  10. Ensuring that orders are prepared in a timely manner, orders are checked for accuracy, and serving as a liaison between the chefs, servers, and guests.
  11. Maintaining quality control for all food served.
  12. Analyzing staff evaluations and feedback to improve the guests’ experience.
  13. Overseeing health code compliance and sanitation standards.
  14. Looking for ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs.
  15. Generating daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  16. Training new and existing employees and managers.
  17. Attending meetings.
  18. Ensuring that all items are labeled accordingly.
  19. Spotting items that are about to expire or go out of stock.
  20. Motivating the staff to work harder.
  21. Supervising the tasks of the employees.
  22. Preparing staff work schedules.
  23. Attending and reminding the employees to attend basic food hygiene and work safety training programs.
  24. Carrying out other related tasks and responsibilities.
