Job Description:
1. Managing the overall café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
2. Supervising staff performance and ensuring consistent adherence to service standards.
3. Recruiting, training, and developing team members to build a motivated and efficient workforce.
4. Scheduling shifts and allocating tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
5. Monitoring and maintaining stock levels by ordering, receiving, and tracking inventory accurately.
6. Ensuring proper food and beverage preparation, presentation, and quality.
7. Implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and efficiency.
8. Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with company and government regulations.
9. Overseeing cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, and ensuring accuracy in POS transactions.
10. Reviewing daily sales reports and analyzing performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
11. Creating and executing promotional and marketing initiatives to boost sales and customer engagement.
12. Building strong customer relationships by engaging with guests and addressing feedback promptly.
13. Collaborating with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth coordination between front and back of house.
14. Communicating operational updates, goals, and expectations clearly to the team.
15. Enforcing company policies, dress codes, and grooming standards consistently.
16. Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and reporting maintenance needs immediately.
17. Monitoring labour costs and optimising scheduling to achieve operational efficiency.
18. Supporting new menu rollouts, product launches, and brand initiatives.
19. Leading team meetings and conducting regular performance evaluations.
20. Encouraging teamwork, accountability, and a culture of excellence among staff.
