Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Managing procurement of all bar supply requirements on time and within budget.
  2. Assisting in managing the restaurant’s operations.
  3. Managing staff schedules.
  4. Creating new and unique menu items.
  5. Mixing, garnishing, presenting, and serving drinks according to standard specifications.
  6. Creating and ensuring that the opening and closing checklists are followed.
  7. Making recommendations and answering all related inquiries.
  8. Responding to guests’ orders, questions, requests, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
  9. Observing relevant health and safety standards.
  10. Maintaining complete knowledge of all our foods and beverages, outlets, services, and hours of operation.
  11. Managing the bar team and ensuring that all target sales are met.
  12. Training new and existing staff.
  13. Recording drink orders accurately into the register system.
  14. Peeling, slicing, and pitting fruits for garnishing drinks.
  15. Serving snacks to guests seated at the bar.
  16. Arranging glasses and bottles into attractive and functional displays.
  17. Ensuring clean glasses, bar equipment, and working areas.
  18. Complying with all health and safety procedures.
  19. Monitoring inventory and informing the procurement team about products that are about to go out of stock or expire.
  20. Ordering and restocking bar inventory.
  21. Checking products for quality and identifying damaged goods.
  22. Labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves, so that they can be organized and easily accessible.
  23. Attending basic food hygiene and work safety training programs.
  24. Ensuring that all utensils and equipment are functional and well-maintained.
  25. Ensuring that guests’ requests and preferences on their orders are being followed.
  26. Receiving and processing guests’ payments.
  27. Keeping records of transactions.
  28. Cashing out the servers during and/or at the end of each shift.
  29. Responsible for all restaurant administrative tasks.
  30. Assisting the Human Resource Department.
  31. Acting as an intermediary between the Human Resource Department and the restaurant.
  32. Supporting the HR Department with administrative duties.
  33. Coordinating with the Finance Department when required.
  34. Preparing daily, weekly, and daily reports.
  35. Carrying out other related tasks.
