Overview:

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Customer Service:
  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
  • Guide guests through the menu, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and according to the restaurant’s standards.

• Table Maintenance:
  • Set up tables with tableware, napkins, and condiments.
  • Ensure tables are clean and tidy throughout service.
  • Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.

• Payment Handling:
  • Present bills and process payments accurately.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions in compliance with restaurant policies.
• Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to provide seamless service.
  • Assist other team members when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Compliance:
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in work areas.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies.

Requirements and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
