Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef in Dubai. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, managing inventory and supplies, and contributing to menu planning. The role also includes training kitchen staff, upholding cleanliness, and collaborating with other team members to deliver excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in culinary techniques, food preparation, and plating
• Experience in kitchen management, time management, and the supervision of staff
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
• Menu planning and recipe development skills
• Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Relevant culinary certifications and prior experience as a Sous Chef or similar role are advantageous
• Passion for culinary arts and keeping updated with food industry trends
