Requirements

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant General Manager to assist the Restaurant General Manager to manage all aspects of the Restaurant including the selection, development and performance management of colleagues, optimizing profits and increasing sales.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the daily supervision of restaurant operations.
  • Assist in managing scheduled shifts ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Monitors effectiveness of workflow & Sequence of Service during service periods and provides hands-on support as and when required.
  • Advise the Restaurant Manager of any improvements needed in relation to restaurants operation including updates to SOPs or addition/ deletion of SOPs.
  • Assists in ensuring that colleagues are aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the department objectives.
  • Monitors manning and competence level of selected colleagues to ensure sufficiency for the department to meet the needs of the organization and customer.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager to implement the F&B marketing plan when required.
  • Trains all colleagues in suggestive selling and up-selling techniques to assist in achieving maximize profitability.

Your Profile:

  • Hotel or Hospitality Degree
  • Advanced English - spoken and written
  • 2-3 years Food and Beverage Experience in 5–star Hotel on a Management level
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office
  • Interpersonal People skills
  • Innovative Business Promotional Ideas
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
