Wehave a fantastic opportunity for Chef de Partieto work in our dynamic team at The Belfry,England’s leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standarddining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities includingour 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for…golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry,starting with hosting The British Masters in June 2023, and continuing with thelaunch of new training and development opportunities and incentives. The Ryder GrillThe Ryder Grill & Kitchen is a 220 seat restaurant that offers anumber of menu options, ranging from our stunning 2 rosette À la Carte menu tochefs table and a Sunday Carvery. The Ryder Grill & Kitchen also benefitsfrom a theatre kitchen where we prepare and cook our steaks and roasts all inview of the guest. Our menus are seasonal so you will learn how we build amenu, cost it and deliver it out to our guests.The restaurant goes into full service and you will work with the rest ofthe team to deliver up to 300 covers on busy evenings not including startersand desserts.On Sundays we run a carvery menu, Sundays are our busiest day in therestaurant so being on top of your game for this shift will ensure its success.  SalaryThe on target earning potential for this role is £31025 annual salary,compromising of a base salary of £29028 plus a qualified estimate of £1997gratuities per annumAbout the role  A Chef de Partie within the Ryder Grill kitchen your day will be focusedon the À la Carte menu, you will have five and a half hours preparation timeMonday to Saturday working from specification sheets to get all food itemsready to serve. Set up and preparation of menus items for your section ready for foodservice, numbers based on hotel occupancy for the resort and you will preparefood in advance for the coming week you may also be expected to take ownershipfor the kitchen in the absence of the kitchen management team. You will also be responsible for: Cooking and delivering beautifully crafted food using the best ingredients sourced from local suppliers Understanding the importance of allergens and dietary safety within your kitchen All temperature logging for hot items and refrigerators to ensure full compliance Running a section of the kitchen throughout a busy service and providing support to your team mates to ensure a fast and accurate delivery.
