Barista

Barista - HAVE YOU GOT A PASSION FOR COFFEE. We are looking for a full time Barista to join the team at The Orangery Tea House within in The Garden Society. Do you have a passion for coffee and cake, a friendly hands-on approach and able to prepare various drinks and speciality beverages? Are your Barista skills ahead of the rest, can your cup leave a customer wanting more. To be successful in this role, you should have great customer service, communication skills and enjoy working as part of a busy team. If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you! Responsibilities Greeting customers Take orders at the till, while paying attention to details (eg, preferences of coffee, dairy, allergens etc) while maintaining the busy flow of customers Prepare various speciality beverages with your unique touch for our guests and be able to answer questions regarding the ingredients we use. Serve cakes and shakes Keep working areas clean and tidy Ensure stock of clean crockery is maintained Regularly check if the brewing equipment is operating efficiently Comply with all health and safety regulations Requirements Previous work experience as a Barista essential Hands-on experience operating beverage equipment Able to gauge customer preferences and make recommendations Excellent organisation & communication skills As part of the recruitment process, you may be asked to carry out a trial shift
