Job Overview
The Sales Manager for ICD Brookfield Place, DIFC Dubai will lead the development and execution of sales strategies for the 4 venues offerings (focus towards Level 52 – Event spaces). This individual will oversee the identification of new business opportunities, relationship management and the development of tailored event solutions for corporate clients and private events. The role involves driving revenue growth and creating new business segments.
Core Responsibilities
Sales Planning & Strategy:
·Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine and improve sales tactics.
·Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for event spaces, aligning with the company's overall objectives and revenue goals.
·Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding the client base, and increasing sales conversion rates.
·Work alongside Director of Reservation and Event / Head of Operations and Event Manager to define seasonal calendar of pricing, conferences in town-region, opportunity of visibility to reach targets.
·Work closely with Event manager to share proposals, contracts, deposit, invoices and payment link.
Sales Blitz Execution:
- Plan and execute Sales Blitzes in key target markets (local & Regional), where focused efforts are made to generate immediate bookings and event inquiries.
- Develop a strategy for each Sales Blitz, including targeted client outreach, promotional offers, and on-the-spot deals to increase conversion and awareness.
- Track the success of each Sales Blitz and provide post-campaign analysis to measure its impact on revenue and client acquisition.
- Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure that blitzes are supported with the right materials, promotions, and availability.
Client Relationship Management:
·Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, including corporate groups, event agencies, wedding planners, private event organizers, and high-net-worth individuals.
·Understand client needs and preferences to provide personalized event solutions.
·Lead high-profile negotiations and ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after events.
Marketing & Promotion:
·Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, advertising materials, and social media strategies to promote the event spaces.
·Ensure the event spaces are well-represented in relevant industry events, trade shows, and luxury or corporate networks.
·Partner with local businesses, influencers, and organizations to expand reach and attract new clients.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
·Provide regular sales reports and performance data to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
·Develop accurate sales forecasts and track progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
·Analyse data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth, adjusting strategies accordingly.
Client Service & Quality Assurance:
·Ensure that all clients receive a high level of service and attention to detail from initial inquiry through to event completion.
·Address and resolve any client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
·Maintain a deep understanding of the event space features, and available services to present the most compelling options to clients.
Qualifications:
·Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
·Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales and business development in the hospitality industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role focusing on restaurant or event space sales.
·Proven Success:
Demonstrated track record of driving revenue and meeting sales targets, particularly in restaurant and event space sales.
·Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and managing diverse client needs.
·Client Relationship Expertise:
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and event planners.
·Sales and Negotiation Skills:
Expertise in closing large deals, handling objections, and negotiating favourable terms for both restaurant bookings and event spaces.
·Excellent Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, senior management, and internal teams.
·Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
Ability to analyse complex situations, develop solutions, and implement them effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
·Technology Proficiency:
Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and event management software
