Job Description

Job Overview

As the Reservations Agent, you will be one of the brand ambassadors for Amazonico Restaurant. Your main responsibility is to ensure that guests queries and requirements for bookings is with high priority.

You will make sure to coordinate with all departments that are involved to ensure satisfaction of the guests.

You are expected to manage all the bookings and allocate proper tables while adhering with Company standards and protocols.

You will be the first point of contact from all guests and ensure to promote the services of Amazonico with highest possible standards at all times.

Amazonico Responsibilities

  • To possess overall and accurate information to all guests about the Food and Beverage services that Amazonico Restaurant is offering
  • To handle all related feedback from guests and making sure to coordinate with the team
  • To assist other departments and teams to ensure the timely completion of these activities
  • To always be detail oriented and are diligent to ensure every aspect of a guest’s experience is exceptional
  • To build business and hit performance goals at all times
  • To be responsible for implementing and holding strict standards for safety and sanitation
  • To politely advise and recommend food and beverage options to all guests while making all offers
  • To timely and accurately create all guest bookings to the system

Departmental Responsibilities       

  • To act as the brand ambassadors of the Company by ensuring guest preferences and requirements are adhered
  • To assist and support the management head in terms of all logistics and required administrative related work
  • To ensure on maintaining proper documentation and feedback reports for future comparison and developments
  • To assist the management on updating all guest’s relevant information to the system
  • To make sure to be involved to any open suggestions to the entire department based on the feedback of the guest and enhance the level of service

Role Responsibilities

  • To provide a courteous, professional, attentive and efficient service at all times with all departments and customers
  • To well establish a good rapport and working relationship with all staff and all other departments
  • To be very knowledgeable on restaurant capacity and seating arrangement and ensure proper allocations of bookings is addressed
  • To be very responsible on controlling the number of reservations on daily basis
  • To assist on printing the menu in case of any event bookings and send to the restaurant as timely as possible
  • To evaluate guest’s bookings through guest feedback and make proper changes and arrangements if necessary

Operations

  • To always act and perform accordingly to Amazonico standards
  • To efficiently use reservation systems (take, confirm, amend, cancel reservations)
  •  To have a thorough knowledge of the menu, wine list, digestive and bar list of Amazonico Restaurant
  • To monitor all correspondence to ensure it meets with Company’s policy and procedures
  •  To announce overbookings when necessary and know when to discontinue
  • To create reservations in the system and clearly indicate all notes and preferences of the customers and then only to proceed with table allocation
  • To make sure on updating the confirmation bookings with the guest on daily basis
  • To handle group booking and events and share the information to the Events Team
  • To maintain appropriate level of confidentiality

 

People Management

  • To ensure and successfully follow daily duties and role responsibilities with team members
  • To respond quickly and positively to changes within your job role and be flexible
  • To analyse and address any concerns to designated departments upon guest feedback to ensure that nest guest visit is taken actions
  • To make sure that you work with pride and must have a tremendous work ethic that sets the tone for the entire team
  • To coordinate with Reservations Team in case of any unsolved issues and ensure to solve timely and accurately
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and tasks assigned by department head or management

Communication

  • To liaise Finance Department for any guest booking discrepancies if any
  • To ensure to communicate always to clients for any relevant updates, concerns, and arranging details so it will be sorted prior (if any)
  • To ensure accurate follow up and communication both internally and to the client
  • To ensure that any last-minute changes and preferences from guest is addressed to all relevant department before their visit
  • Responsible for taking clear and accurate information about every guest’s preference and update it correspondingly in database

Leadership

  • To ensure all telephone calls and emails are handled politely and efficiently, providing correct and accurate assistance which meets customer inquiries
  • You will be responsible to provide an overall excellent and consistent level of service to your customers by leading the event preparation and presentation
  • To always be attentive and offer probable solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner to avoid guest complaints that might lead to bad reviews
  • To maintain efficient communication with all the managers and other departments in order to facilitate smooth  operation every day
