Role Summary

Responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of food service between the kitchen and the dining area. The Head Runner supports the service team by delivering dishes promptly, maintaining food presentation standards, and ensuring guests receive a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Responsibilities: Ensure all food orders are delivered from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain service efficiency and uphold company service standards and policies.
• Guest Service: Assist Waiters in ensuring guests receive their meals promptly and correctly. Respond to guest requests courteously and help create a positive dining experience through attentive and efficient service..
• Food Presentation & Quality: Verify that dishes are correctly plated, complete, and visually appealing before leaving the kitchen. Communicate any delays or special requests to waiters to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. Handle plates, trays, and utensils safely to prevent accidents and ensure cleanliness at all times.
• Teamwork & Professionalism: Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards, demonstrate professionalism, and represent the company’s service culture positively..

Qualifications/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
