Job Description
  • Adherence to policies and procedures of La Cantine du Faubourg as outlined in manuals.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Ensures a working discipline and a smooth TEAMWORK
  • Maintain staff knowledge by ensuing all staff have completed in-house training and workbooks
  • Support and collaborate with staff, offering constructive feedback to sustain a consistent high level of service
  • Liaise with heads of departments to ensure a smooth service, giving daily briefings to ensure all areas are fully informed, i.e. cover expectation
  • Be available to address receptionist/hostess concerns and create a productive environment through motivation, encouragement and guidance
  • Ensure departments can cope with service levels by monitoring reservations and communicating closely with seniors.  
  • Complete incident reports and service overview logs
  • Ensure that guest check-in and checkout services are done promptly and courteously
  • Allocate duties appropriately to ensure hostesses are always available for customer assistance, maintaining a balance between the reception and reservations processes
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the guest relations manager in dealing with VIPs to ensure exceptional service  
  • Escalate any unresolved guest issues to the guest relation’s manager for immediate resolution.
  • Monitor reservations system and cover analysis in order to recommend ways to increase revenue and ensure future bookings are efficient
  • To be continually aware of and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress.
  • To attend meetings and training as required.
  • To take part in fire drills and evacuation drills at required intervals.
